A complaint letter was written but it was directed to SEB Estonia. They again gave me the customer service phone number, asking me to call . I also could not understand why SEB Sweden Customer Service or Account Manager handling non resident account doesn't have an...

I am a non resident SEB Sweden bank holder where i would receive my payment thru your bank.
Unfortunately, i have not received my dividend payment past years as the Swedish Government had change to a no cheque policy,
I have tried numerous time thru available phone number looking for the account operator stated in the previous yearly bank statement ( +467*****) to update my bank corresponding address and bank account number to receive my payment, but NO ONE PICK UP THE PHONE. I have also tried to email SEB bank, but it all ended up in SEB Lithuania or Ethiopia, which itself is not helpfull at all.

All the reply was "Please contact SEB Sweden". It is really frustrating and felt disappointed in your bank service.
i hope that someone would reach out to me to sort out this issue.

Avoid SEB Bank Estonia at all costs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I inherited a flat in Tallinn with an SEB mortgage, in 2013. Suffice to say that if you are not based in Estonia, AVOID SEB BANK AT ALL COSTS. The whole long, sorry saga is too long to go into here but includes them failing to transfer the mortgage into my name despite several pre-scheduled visits by me to them in Tallinn (I live in the UK), failing to provide a contact who speaks English (quite a feat, in Estonia!), insisting on a lawyer-signed letter+apostille simply for an online banking password reset, and then once I had sold the flat, trying every trick in the book to deny me access to the funds until the last moment when- against my instructions- they transferred the whole lot in Euros to my UK account, resulting in my getting hammered on the exchange rate. SEB Estonia 'customer service' is robotic and hides behind legislation, failing to offer solutions that later become apparent with persistence.

Stranded in a foreign country without money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
the bank refused bluntly giving no reason for their decision. the visa organisation refused supply emergency cash, unless i signed a long letter in the roumanian language, which i did not understand. the embassy accepted transfer of money to their account in return for a small gift of § 100:-, which i refused. a belgian mate at the hostal, where i lived, accepted transfer of money, and the deal was made in a matter of minutes. i arrived at the norwegian airport with roumanian money, which the machines were not able to change. tossed out from the airport i spent the night walking around sometimes taking shelter in a shopping cart shed. i came down with a cold, from which i am still suffering.

Visa card cancelled by accident

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
after having called my bank in sweden and stopped all activity on my card i found it. i informed the bank promptly and asked them to reactivate the card. according to law, the card may be reactivated within three days, after it has been accidently reported as lost. communication failed. telefon calls to the bank did not come thru and mail messages were left unanswered. i am now stuck in bucharest with a small sum of money in my pocket. the moral of the story is this: you may easily put money into a bank, but getting them out is a different matter. i have plenty of money in my savings account as well as in my account tied to my visa card, but the bank ignores my calls. legally speaking i can take the bank to court, a matter that may cost me some 5.000 dollars. my problem now is how to get back to sweden.
